Smashing photos John. I especially like the one of the Great Crsted Grebe..... a beautiful subject surrounded by the swirling patterns of the water. It's a beautiful bird; I love the burnished coppery colour on its head. The geese are adorable! :D
Lesley, You will be sick of the sight of Great Crested Grebes if you keep tuning in. I'm calling past Killingworth tomorrow so expect some more. Those Egyptian Geese are ten a penny in Norfolk and are a bit like Swans or Mallards up here and expect feeding all the time. But the young are always cute. John John
It's a lovely morning. Looking forward to seeing more photographs. The only place I'll see today is my mum and dad's garden.... going to do some weeding. :)
The Egyptian Goose is not exactly the prettiest bird on earth but who am I to criticise as I sit here typing looking into the mirror on the wall - btw dont know what you did but the comments box is now showing. I was at Arcot this morning where were u?
