That's a great photo Johnny. I have had little joy chasing Waxwings, but I have not tried the famous Ashington ASDA, so I must give it a go before they scoff all the berries.
Straight across the road from the petrol station is the police station. That's obviously where i saw them this morning but beware the Blackbirds were getting stuck into the Rowanberries and they WERE going fast. Thanks for your kind comment.
Nice image John. Those trees near the police station was the last spot I saw Waxwings. I had my telescope aimed on the station and it wasn't until I moved away that I wondered if my motives might have been misconstrued!
I know what you mean Brian. I was there first thing the other morning and on my own for at least 90 minutes and there were police and civilian staff coming and going through the electric side gate. I felt rather awkward a couple of times when i wasn't actually looking into the trees but elsewhere and found a copper eyeing me up from his car !!
